Bella Cosa Wedding Venue


Maks & Laura's wedding was set at Bella Cosa, an Italian-inspired gem in the heart of Lake Wales, Florida. The architecture and lakeside setting created the kind of atmosphere you’d expect to find tucked away along Lake Como, with gorgeous wizened trees, stone exterior, arches, terraces, and just an overall romantic design. I shot the wedding with a mix of Fujifilm + Digital cameras.

The Morning

Tuesday morning at Bella Cosa was slow and peaceful, and after meeting the ladies, I headed over to play around with some detail shots. Knowing that Laura had mentioned she loved the Italian influence here, I decided to lean into it heavily. The armoire in the ladies dressing room was ornate, so I played around with the light and reflections. I noticed that right outside, there was a stone nook with a little window where I created a few ring and detail shots as well. Shot on Sony A7v and Fujifilm X100VI
